With May being Lyme Disease Awareness Month and with a year already proving to have higher than normal levels of tick activity, it is very important that everyone is well aware of the severity of a tick problem. As we’ve previously mentioned, Lyme disease is not a major problem in Arkansas as the Deer tick that transmits this disease is not a prevalent pest in our great state. That does not mean Arkansans are exempt from worry.
