Don't be frightened by bats this Halloween, let McCauley help you keep your home free of these nuisance pests |
This time of year, most of us are starting to prepare for the cute, little house guests that will be arriving by the car loads on Halloween night. Ghosts, goblins and little, green monsters, may scare us momentarily, but one much scarier creature that may stop by, and unfortunately stay awhile in the homes throughout Arkansas are bats. Although, bats, most notably little brown bats and big brown bats, actually prefer to live outdoors, where there is an ample amount of mosquitoes to dine on, they occasionally will make their way into your home and when that happens, McCauley Services, a longtime Arkansas pest control and wildlife removal company is ready to help!
Despite their small size, bats can cause major problems for homeowners throughout Arkansas. Roosting in attics, soffits and behind shutters, bats tend to gather in large numbers and will leave behind bat droppings that not only look awful, but are potentially dangerous as well especially as it begins to accumulate. Bats are also known carriers of rabies. If you encounter a bat inside your Arkansas home or business, try to avoid making contact with it if at all possible and contact McCauley right away.
Trying to get rid of bats on your own is not recommended. It is not only a tricky, potentially risky task, many bat species throughout Arkansas are protected, meaning they cannot be harmed, which is why we offer effective bat removal services that are designed to humanely resolve your current bat problem and help you keep bats out for good. I know bats are one of the creepiest pests to invade homes, especially during this frightening time of year, but don’t fret if your attic, garage, shed or shutters may have become a home for bats or bed bugs and other pests have you scared.
